Greater Dayton Labrador Retriever Rescue Mission:

Our mission is to rescue and re-home purebred Labrador Retrievers and lab mixes 5 years or younger that have the look and temperament of a lab into loving and caring homes.

Our goal is to help local shelters place a dog that has reached the time limit, take in the neglected and unwanted dog, and in some cases injured ones.

Greater Dayton Labrador Retriever Rescue Dogs:

All unaltered adult dogs and puppies over 8 weeks of age brought into the rescue are spayed/neutered. They have been vet checked, fecal tested for parasites & treated if needed, heartworm negative or have been treated for heartworms, heartworm preventative given, all vaccinations are updated including a 1 year rabies, micro chipped, all pre-existing injuries or medical problems are treated by a licensed vet, and they have been groomed from head to tail.

Take a moment to review the dogs we have available and if you don't find one today, check back! We are very fortunate to have rehabilitated and re-homed over 350 rescued dogs to good homes - as one gets adopted another one takes their place.

Maddie's Fund

Maddie's Fund Logo

All of us here at Greater Dayton Lab Rescue would like to take this opportunity to Thank the folks at Maddie's Fund for allowing us to be a part of the Dayton Coalition. During the next few years we, along with several other groups will take on many new projects with one goal, to end unnecessary euthanasia. This is a passion those of us in rescue all share, and a project we will work diligently on to change the lives for many animals in the future.

Purina Pro Plan - Rally to Rescue Logo

This program is a partnership of Purina Pro Plan brand pet food and select pet rescue organizations across the country that are dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the cause of pet rescue.

The Greater Dayton Labrador Retriever Rescue is proud to be one of 6 rescues selected in Ohio and one of 500 selected throughout the country.

Rally to Rescue focuses on the support of smaller pet rescue organizations that my often be overlooked by potential donors and adopters due to their more limited fundraising and marketing capabilities. This nationwide effort to raise awareness for pet rescues like us will have a positive impact on rescue organizations, big and small.

To learn more about Rally to Rescue, visit their web site at www.rallytorescue.org. Money raised from the web site purchases will be divided up among the rescue groups at the end of the campaign. Promotional support to help rescues spread their message about their rescue group. Items provided to each rescue include a tent, banner, T-shirts, and useful handout material for the public.
