Greater Dayton Labrador Retrieveer Rescue Events

- Description: Purina's "Rally Rescue Across America" is partnering with the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center and the Greater Dayton Labrador Retriever Rescue to help raise animal adoption awareness. "Rally Across America" event will be held during the regular "Mingle with our Mutts" event at the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center. Free gift bags, which include a Rally to Rescue T-shirt, Pro Plan dog or cat food coupon, bandana, and food samples to the first 100 people. Sign up to win door prizes, walk through the shelter, and mingle with the various rescue groups. Purina's mission is to help raise awareness about giving an animal a second chance by rescuing from shelters and rescue groups. Micro Chipping Information
We offer micro chipping for $25.00. You receive free registration with 24 Hour Pet Watch. We have micro chips available at all our events or you can contact us to make arrangements to have your pets chipped.
The chip is the size of a grain of uncooked rice and is inserted with a needle. This permanent identification is implanted under the skin and is read by a chip scanner. The process is quick and no more painful than a vaccination, the number is unique to your pet, and your personal information is available on national data bases so your animal can be returned quickly and safely to you. So many healthy pets end up at shelters without identification. Don't be heart broken over the loss of your pet. Contact us if you would like to have your pet micro chipped and cannot make it to one of our events. We can schedule an appointment for you.
