If you would like to make a donation for the care of a Labrador, we have several ways for you to do this. Without your donations, we can not continue to provide the medical treatment needed for these wonderful dogs. Your donation is tax deductible and will be used towards providing vaccinations, spay or neutering, heart worm testing and prevention, microchip, food, medications, and housing. We are a non-profit organization and you can claim your donation on your taxes. We are strictly a volunteer organization with 100% of the donations we receive going into the caring, feeding, and treatment of our dogs.
Thanks to your generous donations, here are just a few that have been given a second chance to have a good life with a loving forever family.
Howard - amputation of his left hind leg due to being hit by a car and left for a day on the side of the road.
Kodi - Only Parvo puppy to survive out of litter of nine.
Campbell's pneumonia was treated and her tumor removed.
Lucy has received the ACL surgery needed to repair 3 tears in her ACL. We would like to thank all that donated to her cause.
Angela has received her ACL surgery as well and is doing great. She is a very sweet girl and the faster we can get her back to health, the faster she will find a forever home.
Amos a 15 week old chocolate male who is blind. He was given to us by a breeder and is the most lovable dog you will ever meet. Because of his blindness it was recommended we make sure he had no neurological problems before placing him up for adoption. He was given a clean bill of health and now he needs a loving forever home.
Tango was found with a partially embedded collar and the owners had padlocked the collar together to keep it on him. He was very emaciated and terribly shy. Glad to report, Tango is now in a forever home.
Your donations are still needed - we are contacted on a daily basis regarding a Labrador that requires special medical treatment. Please help us to continue to take in those deserving Labradors that have been injured due to neglect, abuse, and car accidents. With your donations, our volunteers, foster care givers, and medical experts can give a deserving dog a second chance.
Monetary Donation – For your convenience you can make a donation through PayPal or can send a check. Your contribution is much appreciated and every penny we raise helps us to provide a better life for a well deserving dog.
Sponsor a Lab - Maybe you’re not able to adopt a lab at this time in your life, but you are able to assist in caring for a lab on a monthly basis. As a rescue, we want to be able to help more of the abused, neglected, heart worm positive, and injured Labradors we are contacted about on a daily basis from local shelters and vet offices. Knowing we had money to cover their expenses coming in each month would allow us to take in more of the dogs that really need us to RESCUE them. As little as $15.00 to $25.00 a month would aid us in providing monthly heart worm preventative or treatment for a heart worm positive dog, food, spay/neutering the dog, and medical treatment due to injuries, abuse, and neglect. With any monthly donation, you will receive a picture and bio of the deserving dog(s) you will be helping and a Lab magnet as a token of our appreciation. 100% of your donation will be used to cover medical expenses for the wonderful dog(s) you will be helping. To request a copy of our Sponsor-a-Lab form and more info about the program, contact us at lablady@gdlrr.org Please help us to help more of them. Their are hundreds of dogs we have had to turn away due to lack of funding. Your donations will allow us to continue our passion of helping these wonderful creatures!
