Did you know... That the largest number of labradors are black? That black dogs are usually the last to be adopted? That people think black dogs look mean and don't photograph well? That more black dogs are left in shelters longer than any other color? That a black labrador male is the hardest to place? That most rescue groups won't take in black dogs - but we do! We find that the black dogs are just as sweet on the inside as their strikingly shiny coats are on the outside! We believe that the black labrador is the heartest of the three primary colors because it's the dominate gene! We feel that the color of the dog has little to do with their temperament or behavior!. Please give a black dog a second chance - you might find that you have found a companion for life!
